1. How do I buy a policy?
|For auto insurance you should contact a producer in your area.
You can find a producer by clicking the “Get a Quote” button on the bottom of this page.
2. Can I view my policy online?
|Yes, you can create a login and password on waic.com to view policy status, print notices and make a payment online.
3. How do I make a payment?
| There are three ways to make a payment:

1. To make an easy one-time payment without creating an account, click on Make a Payment.

2. To make payments, view policy status and print notices, please create an account at www.waic.com.

3. Call us at 800-927-8221 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, Monday – Friday.
4. What is an Endorsement?
|This is an addition to your policy contract and can amend or alter the basic contract.
5. What is an Exclusion?
|This is a restriction in your insurance policy that limits or may exclude coverage for certain situations.
6. What is an SR-22?
|An SR-22 is a certificate of financial responsibility mandated by the state to verify that an individual is maintaining auto insurance liability coverage.
7. How do I file a complaint?

8. Can I receive payment reminders via text?
|Yes, if you would like to receive payment reminders via text, please contact your producer or our Customer Service Department at 800-697-6117.
9. How do I stop receiving payment reminders via text?

10. What is Bodily Injury Liability Coverage?
|This coverage pays damages for injury to persons or death resulting from an accident for which you are at fault. This coverage is subject to the terms, limits and conditions of your policy contract.
11. What is Property Damage Coverage?
|This coverage may pay for damages to another party’s property resulting from an accident in which you are at fault. This coverage is subject to the terms, limits and conditions of your policy contract.
12. What is Uninsured Motorist Coverage?
|This coverage protects you and other passengers in your vehicle who are injured as a result of an accident with an uninsured or underinsured at fault driver. This coverage also comes in a second form, Uninsured Motorist Property Damage or Collision Deductible Waiver. This covers damage to your vehicle if you are hit by an identified uninsured driver. This coverage is subject to the terms, limits and conditions of your policy contract.
13. What is Collision Coverage?
|This coverage pays for damage to an insured vehicle when it is involved in an accident with another vehicle or object. This coverage is subject to the terms, limits and conditions of your policy contract.
14. What is Comprehensive Physical Damage Coverage?
|This coverage pays for damage to your car from theft, vandalism, flood, fire or other covered perils not caused by a collision. This coverage is subject to the terms, limits and conditions of your policy contract.
15. What is Emergency Roadside Assistance?
|This coverage provides coverage for lockout service, inflating a flat tire, re-charging dead batteries and towing. This coverage is subject to the terms, limits and conditions of your policy contract.
16. What is Rental Reimbursement?
|This coverage is available as an optional coverage. It helps pay rental car costs when your insured vehicle is disabled as the result of a covered accident or loss. This coverage is subject to the terms, limits and conditions of your policy contract.

17. How do I report a claim?
|If you are involved in an accident call us at 888-811-4054 to report your claim 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
18. Who handles my claim and how can I get in touch with them?
|Once your claim is filed, it will be assigned a claim number. Your claim will then be handled by a claims adjuster. You can contact your adjuster by calling 888-811-4054 and having your claim number available.
19. Will the payment of my claim be affected if my car is financed?
|The lienholder will be included on the settlement check.
20. Will making a claim have an impact on my premium?
|Several factors are used in determining your premium if a claim has been reported. Some of those factors include total repair costs, at fault determination and coverage(s) paid.
21. If property is stolen from my vehicle, will my auto insurance cover this loss?
|No, your auto policy does not cover personal property that may be stolen from your car. A separate homeowner's policy may cover this loss.
